Quant Dynamic Asset Allocation Fund, the topper in the category, delivered 20.15% return in 2024. Axis Balanced Advantage Fund and HDFC Balanced Advantage Fund offered 17.63% and 16.83% returns respectively in the current calendar year.

Dynamic asset allocation funds and balanced advantage funds: With over 15% return in 2024

WOC Balanced Advantage Fund posted a return of 16.64% in the said period. Invesco India Balanced Advantage Fund and Franklin India Balanced Advantage Fund gave 15.94% and 15.21% returns respectively in the said period.

Kotak Balanced Advantage Fund offered 14.60% return in the mentioned period, followed by Mahindra Manulife Balanced Advantage Fund which gave 14.03% return in the same period. Nippon India Balanced Advantage Fund and Aditya Birla Sun Life Balanced Advantage Fund gave 13.13% and 13.03% returns respectively in 2024. ICICI Pru Balanced Advantage Fund gave 12.55% return in the said period. UTI ULIP and UTI Balanced Advantage Fund offered 11.26% and 11.11% returns respectively in the currency calendar year. Motilal Oswal Balanced Advantage Fund gave 10.63% return in the mentioned period. Union Balanced Advantage Fund gave 10.07% return in 2024.

Around four schemes gave single-digit returns in the said period. NJ Balanced Advantage Fund posted a return of around 9.56% in the said time period. Shriram Balanced Advantage Fund gave 8.13% return in 2024, followed by Bajaj Finserv Balanced Advantage Fund which gave 7.10% return in 2024. Bank of India Balanced Advantage Fund gave the lowest return of around 6.92% in the current calendar year.

Balanced advantage and dynamic asset allocation funds have offered an average return of around 12.80% in the current calendar year.

According to the data by Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI), balanced advantage and dynamic asset allocation funds have received a total inflow of Rs 18,369 crore in 2024 (January to November). The total assets under management was recorded at Rs 2.85 lakh crore as on November 30, 2024.
